Ben and I packed up camp this morning and headed east, out of the mountains and into the foothills near Golden, Colorado. We met back up at the trailhead for the hike up Mount Galbraith. We hit the trail hiking the Cedar Gulch Trail.
The views were pretty nice as we climbed up to the Mount Galbraith Loop.
Once we arrived at the junction with the loop trail, we decided to hike the loop counter-clockwise. Soon, we reached the trail that led to the summit. We stopped at the summit area for a bit to relax and enjoy the view.
After our break we made our way back to the main trail for descent back down to the trailhead.
It was a quick walk back down to the vehicles where Ben and I parted ways.
