Noelle, her brother Kyle, sister-in-law Sarah, nephew JT, and I went to Perrot State Park this morning to get out on the water. After a stop at the nature center and a look at a few wildflowers like this butterfly weed we headed back to the entrance station.
We had discussed paddling the water trail and were lucky enough to get the last two canoes available for rental. It was JT's first time in a canoe and I think that he enjoyed it.
We saw some muskrats and a northern water snake while paddling,
but the best part of the trip was just being outside with some good company and enjoying the views.
