The Highpoint of Missouri: Taum Sauk Mountain

Noelle and I had been to the highpoint of Missouri before, back on October 30, 2002; the same day as our first visit to the Gateway Arch in St. Louis. It was fun to come back with Sierra though! We drove to the parking lot of the short, paved trail and set off. I think Sierra was pretty excited!

We took turns posing at the official "summit"

and then even manged to get a family photo.

We had a silly walk back to the car

and Sierra even insisted on taking a photo of Noelle and I at a random tree.

We then stopped at an overlook

before eating a chilly lunch at the picnic area.
