The Adventure of Parenthood

Our baby Sierra Ione Grunwald arrived into the world on Saturday September 15th at 10:03 pm weighing in at 8 lbs, 9 ounces. It's amazing how one can learn to love so deeply someone that you've only know for a few days, but that's how Noelle and I feel about our beautiful Sierra. The posts on this blog will no doubt become less frequent, but Noelle and I are truly looking forward to sharing adventures with our daughter in the years ahead.

Will that's what I was waiting for.... to see my daughter holding her daughter! To see my great "son" tending to his little one's needs...the smiles on your faces, the love in your eyes...you are a family!!!!

Congrats on the new addition! Kids are awesome. They'll definitely make you adventure a little differently, but getting out is most certainly still possible.

Congratulations, Grunwalds! Don't ever believe the rumor that having a kid means the end of outdoor adventures. Our Eli's almost a year old now, and the game has definitely changed, but we're still camping, hiking and scrambling with him plenty. He's ben a lot more fun to add to our lives than we ever expected, and I'm sure you'll find the same thing with Sierra. Enjoy!
