Fishing Rainy Lake on Canada Day

We went out with some friends on their boat to watch the Canada Day fireworks from Fort Frances. Before the festivities started we dipped the fishing lines in Rainy Lake.

Using a Mickey Mouse fishing rod, Sierra caught her first fish, a keeper sauger.

Besides the fishing, we were treated to a beautiful sunset out on the lake,

and of course the fireworks show!
